RECALIBRATE
Central Leaders Conference
October 24-26, 2025
Conference Vision
Recalibrate (verb): To carefully assess and adjust something, so it can accurately accomplish its intended purpose.
Building on our 2024 Recalibrate Conference, as follower of Jesus, we believe the Lord is requiring us to continue recalibrating our vision, strategy and commitment to equip God’s people, in the power of the Holy Spirit, for the work of ministry to make disciple-makers of all peoples and engage the younger generations in this Kingdom work.
This year we believe the Lord is challenging us to focus on how we as a church family are navigating and engaging with the what it means to share the Gospel and the Love of Christ with individuals and our communities.
The Gospel has not changed. Post-COVID however, our society, culture and the people groups represented in our communities HAS changed significantly in North America. This is an amazing opportunity and challenge as we seek to live out The Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
At Recalibrate 2025, we want to encourage passionate growth in our evangelistic strategies (personally & corporately) and sharpen our understanding of the world around us as we partner with The Holy Spirit to spread the Good News.
WHO SHOULD COME?
If you are in ANY KIND OF LEADERSHIP . . . you should come.
If you are serving in ANY KIND OF MINISTRY . . . you should come.
If you are between the AGES of 13 to 40 . . . as a special invite to our next generation of leaders . . . you should come.
If you are HUNGRY & THIRSTY for more of Jesus . . . you should come.
If you WANT TO GROW & BE EQUIPPED to minister . . . you should come.
If you want to get to KNOW OUR SALT & LIGHT INTERNATIONAL FAMILY . . .you should come
WHY SHOULD YOU COME?
The reasons haven’t changed in our partnership together . . .
It’s time to recalibrate as family, together on mission.
It’s been a year and a half since our S&L North American Central Region met together in-person. We need to be reminded of the mission we have been given and why the Lord has joined us together. This is a family gathering, not just a conference!
It’s time to recalibrate life and leadership.
This conference is not about information . . . it’s about formation. Our goal is to provide you with training and practical tools that will help you grow in your capacity to love and obey Jesus as you meet the challenges of today’s church and live in a rapidly changing world.
It’s time to recalibrate our Salt & Light values and practices for greater fruitfulness.
Each time we gather together we strengthen and remind ourselves of our identity found in Christ, in our families, in our church and local community. Our identity anchors us and is our foundation & launching pad for ministry.

MAIN SPEAKER
DR. DANIEL SHAYESTAH
Daniel is the founder and President of Exodus From Darkness.
https://www.exodusfromdarkness.org/
Born in Northern Iran, he was once a devoted Muslim, a teacher of Islamic philosophy, and a key political leader during the Iranian Islamic Fundamentalist Revolution. After rising through the ranks of revolutionary leadership, ideological conflict and disillusionment led to his arrest and death sentence; a crisis that ultimately became the turning point in his journey to faith in Jesus Christ.
Since his dramatic escape and conversion, Daniel has dedicated his life to sharing the gospel with Muslims and equipping Christians to understand and lovingly engage with people of other beliefs. Through Exodus From Darkness, founded in 2000, he ministers across Australia and internationally, encouraging churches to grow in boldness, clarity and compassion in proclaiming the truth of Jesus. His heart is to see individuals and societies transformed by the peace, hope and eternal confidence found only in Christ.
